- Transcripts: All transcripts are stored locally on your device using CoreData. We do not have access to your transcripts.
- Analytics Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics through Mixpanel to improve our app. This includes events like feature usage and app navigation, but never includes transcript content.
- Purchase Information: Subscription and purchase data is managed by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive anonymous subscription status information.
On-Device Processing
Dictation leverages Apple's native frameworks to ensure your data stays on your device:
- Speech Recognition: Uses Apple Speech Framework for on-device transcription
- Translation: Uses Apple Translation Framework (iOS 18.0+) for on-device translation
- Data Storage: All transcripts are stored locally in CoreData
